Responder Agreement

1. Eligibility and role

You must be at least 18 years old and participate as an independent volunteer. This agreement does not create employment, agency, partnership, certification, or a professional-services relationship with Offroad Rescue.

2. Choice to assist

You decide whether to go on duty, accept, continue, transfer, or leave a rescue. Stop or decline when conditions exceed your skills, equipment, legal authority, or comfort.

3. Emergencies

Offroad Rescue is not emergency dispatch or a public-safety service. If anyone may be injured, in danger, or facing an emergency, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service first.

4. Risk, qualifications, and equipment

Vehicle recovery, roadside activity, off-road terrain, weather, towing, rigging, tools, and interaction with others carry serious risks, including property damage, injury, and death. You remain responsible for your training, licenses, insurance, vehicle, equipment, methods, decisions, and compliance with law.

5. Location and communications

While you are on duty or assigned to a rescue, the service may collect and use your location and share it with assigned rescue participants and service providers for matching, navigation, communication, safety, and operation. Protect participant information and use communications only to coordinate legitimate assistance.

6. Tips and no guarantee

Tips are optional and are not promised compensation. Offroad Rescue does not process or guarantee tips, requests, assignments, location accuracy, communications, participant identity, safety, response conditions, or outcomes.

7. Limitation and release

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you assume responsibility for your responder activities and release Offroad Rescue and its operator from claims arising from volunteer assistance, participant acts or omissions, and the inherent risks described above. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Offroad Rescue and its operator are not liable for loss, injury, property damage, delay, failed assistance, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the service. Nothing in this agreement excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or waived.

8. Private beta

This private-beta service may change, be unavailable, or contain defects. Report safety and product issues to support@offroadrescue.com. This provisional agreement requires attorney review before public release.
