Terms of Service

These are provisional private-beta terms. The app presents and records acceptance of an immutable version of its terms. The exact in-app version shown when you accept controls if it differs from this readable web copy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms. Offroad Rescue is not intended for children. An underage person who needs help should ask a parent or guardian to make the request. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency service.

2. Volunteer matching platform

Offroad Rescue helps requesters and independent volunteer responders find and communicate with each other. Offroad Rescue does not employ, direct, certify, or supervise responders. Responders decide whether to accept or continue each request.

3. No emergency service or guarantee

Offroad Rescue is not an emergency dispatch, towing, roadside-assistance, or public-safety service. No responder, response, arrival time, identity, skill, equipment, communication, location accuracy, safety, or recovery outcome is guaranteed.

4. Risk and judgment

Off-road travel, vehicle recovery, roadside activity, weather, terrain, tools, towing, and interaction with other people carry serious risks, including property damage, injury, and death. Use your own judgment, follow applicable law, and do not begin or continue an activity you believe is unsafe.

5. Location and communications

To match and coordinate rescues, the service may collect precise and approximate location data and share rescue and participant locations with assigned rescue participants and service providers. Operational in-app messages, push notifications, and participant-initiated phone or SMS communications may be used for a rescue or account. Carrier charges may apply.

6. Tips

A tip is optional and never required to request or receive help. A responder may list an external payment handle. Offroad Rescue does not process, hold, guarantee, or require those payments, and a tip does not create an employment or paid-service relationship.

7. Conduct and content

Provide accurate rescue information, communicate respectfully, and share only content you are authorized to share. Do not use the service for unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or dangerous conduct, or attempt to bypass its access controls.

8. Limitation and release

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you assume responsibility for your use of the service and release Offroad Rescue and its operator from claims arising from volunteer assistance, participant acts or omissions, and the inherent risks described above. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Offroad Rescue and its operator are not liable for loss, injury, property damage, delay, failed assistance, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or waived.

9. Private beta and changes

The private-beta service may change, be unavailable, or contain defects. Beta access is discretionary and may be approved, denied, or revoked. A new in-app document version requires a new recorded acceptance. Questions may be sent to support@offroadrescue.com.

Responders must also accept the separate Responder Agreement before going on duty. Everyone using the service must follow the Community Standards.
