Requestor Agreement

1. Community assistance, not professional service

Offroad Rescue is a connection and coordination platform. It does not employ, direct, certify, insure, or supervise responders. A responder is an independent community volunteer using personal judgment and standard consumer tools.

2. Vehicle assistance risks

Vehicle assistance, including but not limited to jump-starting, changing tires, unlocking doors, pushing a vehicle, or other minor roadside and off-road help, carries inherent risks of property damage, mechanical failure, electrical issues, bodily injury, and death. By requesting assistance, you acknowledge these risks and agree that you are requesting volunteer help on an as-is basis and entirely at your own risk.

3. Requestor responsibilities

You are responsible for accurately describing your location, vehicle, hazards, and requested assistance; following applicable law; keeping people out of danger; and stopping the activity if conditions become unsafe. Do not request volunteer help when the vehicle requires specialized commercial towing, professional equipment, heavy machinery, or roadside work on a high-speed interstate shoulder. Contact a licensed professional provider instead. Call 911 or local emergency services when anyone is in immediate danger.

4. Release and legal recourse

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release, waive, and forever discharge Offroad Rescue and its operator from claims, demands, or lawsuits for vehicle damage, body damage, electrical issues, mechanical failures, delay, failed assistance, or other loss arising from a responder’s actions or omissions. You agree that any claim for damage caused by a responder must be brought directly against the individual responder, subject to rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.

5. Connection fees, tips, and no guarantee

Any subscription or platform connection fee pays for access to the network and coordination tools, not a promise that a responder will accept, arrive, or complete a request. Tips are optional and are not required to receive help. Offroad Rescue does not guarantee a responder’s identity, skill, equipment, availability, safety, arrival time, or outcome.

6. Information shared during a rescue

To coordinate assistance, the service may share your submitted location, vehicle details, photos, messages, voice transmissions, and safety updates with assigned or assisting responders. Review the Privacy Policy and share only information needed for the rescue.

7. Private beta

This private-beta service may change, be unavailable, or contain defects. Questions or safety reports may be sent to support@offroadrescue.com. This provisional agreement requires attorney review before public release.
